Calling CompDrug
We know some patients are experiencing long wait times, which can be frustrating. While we continually work to improve, there is one thing you can do to help. For all medical scheduling needs, please call 614.224.4506 (main line) and Press Option 1. If you leave a message here with a working phone number, we will call you back. Clinical scheduling can be done using the main line or through your counselor.
Missing Days of Medication
When you miss between 3 and 14 days of medication, CompDrug calls this a “Many Day Miss.”We welcome patients who have missed a few days of medication, but there are a few extra steps we must take to safely welcome you back to the MAT program beginning on Day 4. You will first check-in, then complete toxicology and a medical appointment before you can dose.
**NEW** If you’ve missed more than 3 days of medication, make sure to arrive no later than 12:20, or we may not be able to schedule your appointment the same day. Check-in, toxicology and your appointment all need to occur before we can safely dose you again.
Patients who miss 1, 2 or 3 days of medication can return as normal to CompDrug (no additional steps required). Patients missing more than 14 days of medication will be administratively discharged but can return to CompDrug as a re-admission. Either way- you are welcome back.
Same Staff, New Name!
We’ve changed the name of the “Patient Services” department to “Medical Registration.”
When you hear us say Medical Registration Representative, we are talking about the same great staff who schedule appointments, check you in and help you at registration and reception. We know it will take some time to get used to, but you can help all of us get used to the change by using their new name, too. Thank you!
Take Home Waiting Room Now Open
On occasion, you may have a short wait time for your take-home medication. A TV in the waiting room will tell you when your medication is ready, and at which window. When your medication is ready, proceed to lobby. Enter through dosing door #2 and directly to the window listed on the TV monitor.
We welcome any feedback you have on this or any other CompDrug service using the feedback cards onsite or through our website.
Reminder: New Lockbox Replacement Policy
CompDrug adjusted its lockbox policy in 2023. All patients who receive medication will receive a free lockbox to accommodate your number of take-home medications. If you need a replacement box (lost, stolen, etc) you can purchase one for a fee of $5 (locking bottle) or $15 (lockbox).
